Is Pride of Nations NON-steam and will there be updates or new editions of the game?

Hi I am new here and have played Paradox games for a very long time. But, it seems that Paradox has sold its soul to STEAM.

So, I am looking for a new historic game producer that can supply me with retail-version games and Pride of Nations seems to be such a game.

My next question is, will there be new editions of "Pride of Nations", a "Pride of Nations 2" maybe? Is the game alive?

The game is very alive. We are having AARs. No version 2 yet (the designers are working on ACW II right now).

Pride of Nations is now sold at Ageod and Matrix exclusively (in theory).

We are testing a patch right now, it is in public beta, so development has not stopped, but with us focused on Civil War II, all others games are slowed down in improvements.

Thank God there is still hope for a new non-steam historic strategy game!

When the developers start working on PoN 2 they should look towards the units and the map-design in "Commander: The Great War" and "Commander: Europe at War". A mix between the PoN-series and the Commander-series would be awsome. :w00t:
