As France, I have Mexico City as an objective. I have taken it, and all of central Mexico.
Yet when I try to make a peace proposal, no area of Mexico can be demanded as a claimed region.
Can someone explain if this is working properly?

The French-MEX units are created by previous events (Imperial Army), before the victory...but I can have them killed by the victory (and Mexico recreates them just after, so it's transparent, but it prevents them to become "French")
I can't avoid the teleportation to the West Indies, which is automatic because the way the game handles peace....unless I do a trick...
Trick would be: before peace, one region of Mexico is ceded to France (e.g. Vera-Cruz)...then, after peace, it is ceded back to Mexico...in the meanwhile, because of passage right treaty, the French will stay there, ready for return to France, even if the region is Mex again... what you think ?![]()
