I would like to add my support for the acceleration of NM loss when it is high. In my single player GB game, China, who I hoped would be weakened by its war with the Taiping, has 187 NM and I am struggling to win any battles at all, despite my 1890-1920 units (btw it's only 1864). I seriously doubt that the average Chinese citizen would be in high spirits after over 10 years of devastating civil war. :bonk:

I agree, any NM above 150 (or below 50, but that's not so critical) should go as soon as possible towards 100 otherwise the effects are grossly enlarged. Nonetheless, the 10-per-turn max decrease may be ok. If you think about it, in just 5 turns it will be already almost 150 anyway. :)
