FYI, this will be a 1 turn per day game. So 7 turns a week, and it will take years to complete.

We will have some house rules (we haven't decided on them yet, but there will be some).
Remember - The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Still looking for players for Belgium or Holland. We'd also likely be willing to add Brazil or Sweden if someone had their heart set on playing them.

So if you're on the fence about playing, just join up, it's a lot of fun.

Also worth noting that though we're looking for committed players who won't quit easily there probably will be some turnover. Priority for any vacancies in major powers will be given to current players of minor powers who wish to upgrade.

I´m interested in playing Holland. I recently purchased the game and have to understand all the new features that are different from other Ageod games first, so my question is:

Is learning to play PON hard if you have experience with other Ageod titles like RoP, BoA2, AACW and AJE? Do I have to play singleplayer first?
I would like to start PON in Multiplayer but wonder if its the right decision if I have absolutely no experience at this game.

No it is not hard if you have that other experience - the economy is the trickiest aspect, but the other players will help you. nter-player diplomacy is an important part of the game and enjoyable.

The key things are an interest in the game, a sense of the history, and active engagement as well as the dedication to play a turn each day in the best interest of your avatar nation. Fortunately, if not at war or fine tuning your economy, orders can be given rapidly.

The Netherlands would be a good choice.

I believe someone just got in ahead of you and took Holland, which was the last available nation. We can put you on a waiting list if a country opens up.

Even better, there are some minors free in the ongoing sister PBEM Conflict in Europe, if you're interested see the thread I posted in this forum regarding those openings.

World in Conflict is now coming to the end of its 6th game year (1885) and the other ongoing massive multiplayer PBEM Conflict in Europe Redux is in 1880 - both appear to have current or future openings for players, which can be discussed in their "General Discussion" threads in the PBEM forum. I am in both. You will see other PBEM alternatives there as well.

It is possible for 2 players to collaborate on a country (there can be a lot to do for bigger ones) - e.g., I am looking for an experienced player with interest in the history and a role-playing focus to collaborate in playing Britain in World in Conflict. This includes an organized and policy objective-based approach to playing the game. On this I can also be PM'd directly if my box is not full. :innocent:

I apologize if I missed it, but just read the full general thread onworld in conflict and the openings were not readily clear to me- do you have a specific list anywhere of the openings in each game?

As a player in the PON Conflict in Europe - Redux MP game, I know that Japan and France are open in that game.
