Suggestions welcome

Hello. I've played 408 turns of my GB grand campaign and I few days ago, I got tired and tried playing Victoria II again. After playing PON it was very disappointing though, so I am returning to my PON game. I did some reading and it seems that the 1860s were peaceful and prosperous for the British Empire (no wars), so I was wondering if experienced players can recommend some good colonial adventures while I wait for inevitable wars in South Africa etc. in later decades. Any ideas would be great, thanks. :)

After the 1860s, the British expanded into Africa. Attempted the railroad from Cairo to Capetown. Additionally, consolidated India and entered China in a big way.
You could challenge Russia and America in the Pacific Northwest of the North American continent.
My take.
