Printed Manual

Sat Mar 03, 2012 10:06 am

Is there any chance that a printed manual could be produced and made available.

With a 170+ pages it becomes a major effort to print off all these pages, plus a proper bound maual (as for EUIII) is so much more aesthetically pleasing.

With a game as complex as this, it wouldbe really useful to have a manual to read in bed, on the toilet or just available by your side when playing to quickly switch out to access the pdf

Save a tree, read on an e-reader! ;)

I always loved the old games where a well-bound manual was the norm. However, it is a waste nowadays. Print the pages you need or take the pdf to your local printing shop for professional printing and spiral-binding, plastic cover, etc. It will probably cost less than you imagine (I calculate it to less than €10).

Last time I had a manual printed, I think it cost me about $12.00, $5 for the printing and $7 for the binding. Looked okay, but not really like a real game manual looks when they professionally print them.

I imagine that I'm not alone when I say that what I read on a monitor is not absorbed like it is when I read off of paper. I don't know why that is, it just is.

Had a Fuji Finepix manual printed for £14 but then, this is rip-off Britain :(

No kidding.

I got a Kindle as a gift this last Christmas. I have truckloads of PDF manuals on it, including this one. Definitely getting a lot of use out of it.

Now if I could just get all manuals to be in single page view by default (as opposed to the 2-page continuous view), then I'll be happy because I don't have to zoom in extra & move the view around manually.

Yes, I am disappointed with Kindle. Purchased to read manuals primarily but am enjoying the free books!
