War and Peace at PON

Mon Jun 27, 2011 9:19 pm

1.01g. I'm playing Russia. Crimean War began
I conquerd Constanntinople and offered a peace - to release Bulgaria and Bosnia.
After 2 turns I see a result:
1) my armies retreated, Otto got control over everything back.
2) I got 2 treaties with Ottomans - peace AND full war - e.g. I gave them everything back and they released nothing and we are at war (???)
3) I couldn't get the Kars (my objective) as an option in peace-offer screen, but received Batumi for free (???)
It looks like peace is totally not working - how is it even possible to be at war and pece at the same time?
And, by the way, is it possible at all to end a war against Britania?
Thank you

I believe that this has been acknowledged at the Paradox forums (definitely on the to-do list!)

thank you.
Have you, buy any chance, any advise about what could be done now?
it's a pity, it was already a 3-evenings-old game :( (

As long as you didn't keep playing a lot beyond that you should at least be able to find the auto-save (up to 24 turns back) from before the peace offer. Once you identify which one it is, copy it somewhere safe until they get to that particular bug and try another scenario/campaign in the meantime.
