One cool way to improve turn messages

I thought about one way to make the turn summary messages more in your face and nicer to read.

How about a newspaper that pops up every turn summarizing the most important events? It could summarize big battles, successful expeditions etc, bribes, dow.s etc.

It would add additional flair to this great game.

Nice suggestion, but not so easy to implement, requires new code...noted though

Yes. I realize that it is out of patch scope but maybe expansion or DLC?
