Loading savegame issue

I chose the war plan for Austria, the Koenig plan, then saved after the very first round of the first game turn, overwriting an older savegame with the same name. Then after I didn't like what happened in the second round, I reloaded that savegame. Trouble is, the war plans seem to be messed up. When doing nothing, nobody seems to have one (I get no messages to that effect), while when I go in the war plan window I'm told that I chose the Conrad plan and that I can't change it.

I got around that situation easily enough by simply starting again, but I do worry a bit about savegame stability...
