Start a new two player Grand Campaign as the CP 1.0.5i. After the initial events, prior to the CP selecting a War plan select the statistics window (flag on top left) and, from inside this window, hit ESC.

I get a constant flicker of the "Game is Busy" message.

Try to pause the game, then unpause. It happened once to me and the flickering ceased...but it looks like a loop indeed

It's a glitch. I will remove it. In the meanwhile, do as Philippe wrote, the pause key works.

Thanks. I did figure out I could could hit ESC and then, when leaving the options screen, it was OK. So I was able to continue.
