continued crash on game start

game constantly loads but when i try and click on the menu the game crashes.
when i click on a start option it does not accept the mouse command at all it
just crashes.
I also cannot start as admin trying to troubleshoot Windows for it as it says my
code is wrong which is silly as i have it on the main game page and could not
start the game if i did not have it. very frustrating. Win 7 dual core machine.

Have you tried the usual tricks such as disabling UAC, running the game in single core mode, disabling or configuring the antivirus so that WW1.exe is a trusted application, etc. etc.?

What do you mean exactly? The code of WW1 is wrong? Or the code of Windows is wrong???
If the code of WW1 is wrong, you are probably not logged in Windows as PC Administrator, so the WW1.ini file cannot be overwritten (no priviledges) and the serial key cannot be stored.
