Frequent crashes

Hi,

New player to WWI. I have upgraded to the latest version of Gold, but I am still getting regular crashes to desktop for no apparent reason. Has anyone else had similar problems?

I think you can find some useful tip.

In short words:
a) Disable UAC (if running on Win Vista or Win 7)
b) Configure your antivirus in such a way WW1.exe is a trusted application (shields)
c) Disable the "AI Logs" option (Configure game tool) if it's enabled
Etc. etc..

Updated sound drivers to the latest, switched off UAC and fingers crossed, things are looking OK. Thanks for the help.
