1.04g - Munition Problem Still Exists

Mon Dec 08, 2008 6:04 pm

It seems that with 1.04g I still have the munition issue whereby no matter what I set in the slider, I still only get 6 for Germany and 2 for Austria-Hungary in September 1914 ? I had set the slider to 21 for Germany and 10 for Austria-Hungary. Should I not be getting the 21 and 10 each turn. Maybe I am not understanding the slider correctly ? Can someone explain ?

Your maximum ammunition production is leveled by your civil production. U cant upgrade this production before the first interphase of the campaign so it's normal for me that your ammo production is really low without this political action.

Just my 2 cents

Confused

Mon Dec 08, 2008 7:08 pm

Well, in the first reinforcement phase Germany received 13 and Austria-Hungary received 6. Then in the second reinforcement phase Germany received 6 and Austria-Hungary received 2. It didn't seem to matter what I had the slider set to. How does civil production cap what you can produce ? Is there not some way to indicate what each country's maximum is by turn ? Right now I have no idea...

Wait a sec, from August to end of 1914, munition gain is "hard-coded" simulating the initial stockpiles the warrin nations had.

In other wirds, getting a lot in August/September, then only a handful, is a feature, and not a bug. :)

Tamas is right! The MUNs/RPs flow start in Jan 1915. And the texts in the concerned windows are very clear about the timelines... ;)

O.K. Is there anywhere I can see these timelines and the hard-coded munition gains by country for the months in 1914 ?

The initial monthly flow represents the historical mobilization: you get some in August, a huge boost in September, then only miniscule in October and November, as the pre-war stockpile gets shipped out of storages, which empty.

Click on the nation flag in the top-left corner of the screen (if controlled) and you will enter the Ledger! A lot of statistics, graphs, tables, etc. etc.

Oh yes, that ledger! :bonk: But I cannot see a timeline telling me when, and how much ammo I'm getting. I see a straight line with no explanation.
Thanks
