CTD after siege against own nation

Just now I had a CTD, when I (as german) had a siege defence battle against an apparently german attack, though there were no troops employed on the battlefield. After the 'battle' finished (not sure whether it showed 'DElay siege') I got the CTD.
A little earlier in the same resolution phase I lost a normal battle at Koenigsberg, not sure whether it has anything to do with this CTD.
