Can't even install the "patch"

Tue Nov 11, 2008 11:40 pm

Yes, I've already entered my serial key in the "game configurator" but when I start to apply the patch, it asks for the serial key again. I enter it, am told it's invalid, and it kicks me out. Tried many times. I'm using the serial key from the purchase email. What now? Can't even get the patch installed or, needless to say, play the game!!

If you buy the game as a preload, all you need to do is patch + enter the key obtained by email, that's it... it works for dozens of players.

If you buy the game in full since today 11:00, no need to patch, just enter your key in the configurator and start...

If both things don't work, then you probably have a corrupted archive. In that case let us know so we can fix it...

I did pre-order. So I had previously installed the game, even though I couldn't do anything with it. When I try to install the patch to allow play, it asks for my serial number. I enter the 12 character serial number (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), it says "invalid serial number". After 2 tries, it kicks me out completely. So I can't even play the game, i.e., can't install the patch :(

OK, I understand, it is the serial provided with the download "preload" copy, and not the game serial (because this one never kicks you out permanently).

Send me a PM with all your name, address and email details so I can give you a solution for the trick ;)

Philipe, could you report your reply to this situation? I seem to have ummm,
misplaced it....along with my glasses, wallet, keys. Yes, getting old is a blast.
