More questions

Couple other questions that came to mind

A) when the AI is moving (again Army to Army) are you supposed to be able to do a Reaction twice - once on each front - should the CP be allowed two reactions one East and one West?

B) Have red flags on some Austrian units - have to make mandatory attacks - did this and got the green falgs temporarily but still had the red flags at the end of the move - is this normal

C) I thought you could not advance in the turn (again Army to Army) with armies that had not been activated - this is not happening for me - couple of times now I have been in the middle of a turn and accidently hit the advance to next phase button instead of the perform move button (or whatever they are called) and ended my movements before I had a chance to activate all armies

D) Along the same note - I thought you could not advance a turn with red flags showing on armies (from "B" above) - even though I have Austrian armies with red flags showing I was able to advance in the turn

Thanks
Jack

A - good question, I have never tried to do one reaction west and one reaction east with Germany but i would.

B-D I have already noticed that, i think it's a simple picture bug : it should be a green flag but a red flag is shown

C- You couldn't end the turn without activting all your armies when you have the initiative, you could end the turn chenever you "want" when you play in second, hitting the wrong button is bad luck, or lack of sleeping ;) (I have already doing it a couple of time, very frustrating).

A - Mmmhhh, I remember only one reaction is allowed, but I don't recall exactly, sorry.

C - it depends on Initiative. If you play first, you have to activate all armies, then you are allowed to end your impulse. Then the last player can end his impulse whenever he wishes (provided he had activated mandatory attacks, of course). This is the problem indeed, you was playing last and you hit the wrong button...

B/D - yes, map not refreshed...

Thanks for the replies - the manual does state "reaction is allowed once per front" on page 38 - just wanted to make sure I was not loosing a reaction

B, C, D make sense

So I guess the Book Reaction button is grayed out depending on the army stack currently selected... if a Reaction attempt (successful or failed) took place on your side on the stack's front, the button is grayed out. Isn't so?
