The map

Mon Jan 03, 2011 5:38 pm

I have done a map of the Gold version of the game.
This is PNG file with 218Mb, the original size is 570cm x 365cm.

The upload link and a little version can be found in the post #7 of this thread in the spanish place of forum:

I think that I don't break any copyright :D

Useful to prepare a game, material for AARs or printed poster.

Improved map

Tue Jan 04, 2011 1:01 pm

There was a dopple image in the region of Schleswig and Hamburg :(
I fixed it and I have improved some coastal lines in the North Sea, Atlantic coast of France and some uncoloured pixels in the red painted areas too.

The new link to download :
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZOG7RHH9

All the regions are lighted, the name and the values of the cities are visible and the map is free of military units.

Thanks for sharing. Dumb question; is the 570 x 365 dimensions that of the original boardgame map? And is that really in cm rather than mm?

Cheers

Adobe Photoshop says this size.
If you want to print with this size, the quality is like your screeen, I've done a big "puzzle" with printscreens.
Maybe something better is with pixels dimensions : 16152x10297.

Cheers.
