Italy, Turkey, USA, and to some extent even Britain, in a non-naval sense anyway, could be considered to be minor major powers in the context of the game, and usually they do not enter the fray immediately, but get dragged into the war piecemeal.
Obviously, when a human player controls these powers there's no problem since the new forces are gratefully integrated into one's overall strategy, but does the AI have any pre-set attitudes, war plans, or objectives which guide its use of these tardy reinforcements?
I ask for two reasons:-
1) How well does the AI cope with using these new forces compared to the structured way (via warplans) that the initial armies are ranged across the map?
2) Is there a file that can be modded that could give greater guidance to the AI to operate these armies?
So far I've only experienced the AI handling Turkey and Italy and it seems to be competent enough given the relatively restricted nature of the mountain fronts their forces tend to be fighting in but it must be very difficult for the AI to handle Britain with its far flung interests and vast navy.
Has anyone any experience of how well the AI handles Britain?
Has anyone seen how the AI handles US forces?
