Questions about building/production

Mon Jun 14, 2010 2:34 pm

There are a few things I do not understand or are unclear about building and production :

A) When I build infantry Corps on the first military phase, it is written in the overlay tooltip that the unit will be available in Nov-Dec 1914. However, when I confirm the building, it states it will become available on June 1915. Which one is the right date?

B) When I build HQs, do they come with Corps included or are they empty of any Corps?

C) Navy unit: Do I have to build each steps individually? What does happen when I choose to build only 1 step?

D) Firepower upgrade: Do I have to play 20 EP individually per Corps, or does it upgrade for all similar types of Corps?

Thanks!

You can select the time for build. Is the tooltip non coherent with the selected timeline?

No, they come empty. In fact they cost zero! :D

Step by step. You can select multiple steps only when the Warfare Economy increases (because you increment the number of committed shipyards).

It's applied to all corps of that type.

Yes, I can, but it only pushes the date by a month or so. When I confirm my choice, it still writes (not in overlay, but in plain dark text) that it will be available on June 1915.

So, when building Corps does it take x turns in months or x turns in seasons? The definition of "turn" here is a little unclear.

It takes X turns beginning after the next Interphase.

And the first interphase is Nov.-Dec 1914, right?

So, for example, if I upgrade an Reserve (grey flag) Infantry Corps, all Infantry Corps of the same name (Infantry) and the same quality (Reserve) will be upgraded?

Yes, in fact if you click on the "upgrade" button for one corps, all buttons of similar corps are pressed too.

I confirm there is indeed a bug in the tooltip overlay. It states the unit will be available in Nov.-Dec. 1914, while it shouldn't.

I did the same test, but I was in the Interphase of Nov.-Dec. 1914 and it worked fine.

Did't you be in the Interphase?

No, I was in Early August 1914.

There was indeed a display bug. Fixed. Next patch.
