Tips during the reinforcements segment?

Is there any tips during the inforcement segment?For example,when you deploy the troops,it is time to wait for the other one's finish(or the AI).But you have only found out that the turn button is grey?It seems like there are some assignments to be accomplished ,but there aren't any tips for that.You can hardly find any reason for that .Does anyone else find similar problems?
