New copy protection?

Fri May 28, 2010 7:44 am

Calvinus mentioned a new copy protection at the matrix forums. What does it do?

I ask because my computer was ravaged by SECUROM, and I am very concerned about this.

Don't worry, no SECUROM or any invasive drm stuff...user friendly thing (I don't know the exact trick, Calvinus will let you know when he returns) :)

I'm guessing it's just adjusting the executable file to be less easily hacked?

I, too, loathe nasty DRMs but I wasn't under the impression it wouldn't be anything like that.
