Problem updating to Gold Windows 8 HP laptop 8gb

I'm having major problems getting my WW1 to upgrade.

It keeps giving me "DeleteFile failed : code 5 access is denied"

I'm administrator, I've tried installing in default directories (x86) or in plain Program files. I've tried and failed about ten times now as I have two copies of WW1 original:

1 Retail pack bought UK serial : XXXXXXXXXXXX
2 AGEOD Military strategies retail serial : XXXXXXXXXX

I've tried with both.

My upgrade serial : XXXXXXXXXXXX

Also: other things try to install and ask me which directory? How should I know?

PS also tried installing as run XP compatibility.

I've modified your post. Please NEVER MAKE PUBLIC the Serial Keys!!!!

This said, send a PM to PhilThib asking for the full installer of WW1Gold. Once received, uninstall WW1Base and install the full WW1Gold....
