Have a couple of questions
1) Stacking - I have read the rules but still am not sure about stacking -
A) In my last game I had an attack from three armies in three different regions - at the end of the Grand Offense (Capreotto scenario) the Central Powers won and advance all three armies into the same hex - I thought that was not supposed to happen as armies cannot stack together
B) In the next reinforcement phase one of the armies only contained two corps but I was unable to reinforce it - I know it has something to do with stacking (when I clicked of the stacking limitations I could then reinforce) but it still did not make sense as I was able to reinforce another army in that same hex that contained more units
2) Combat - in the above mentioned Grand Offense a couple of things happended that confused me
A) It was a big battle - both flanks involved - at times I could not move units from either the reserve or the rear to one of the flanks - in the next round I usually could
B) In the following breakthrough it moved detachments from all three armies - is there any control as to what gets moved into the break through hex?
C) two of the generals were picked to lead the attacks - one on each flank - is there any way I can tell what army that general is leading? and does that make a differnce into what units get put into which flank?
D) I wanted to counterattack (in a different battle than above - I was on the defense) but the button never would light up up - any ideas?
E) The grand offense mentioned above was already planned when the scenario started - when you went to the grand offense screen three armies were shown - were these the three armies originally chosen for the attack? - if so one of the three could not get to the combat region in one turn - I choose another army to attack
All for now - sure there will be more
Thanks
Jack
