Sun Jul 05, 2009 4:32 pm

I'm just wondering if there is a time table for the next patch?

It will depend on the speed with which Calvinus broken hand repairs (and also when his home PC is fixed ;) )

salutations and felicitations and all my admiration to calvinus, who has heroically coded away day and night. :coeurs: he deserves a break. and he can't keep working on WW1 forever.

i wonder if next time (i would even hope for this game) that AGEOD could support someone like Calvinus a little more, there are some basic attributes of AGE engine games that Calvinus did not benefit from, it seems he had to start the mammoth project of coding WW1 from scratch and learn the hard way.

this has not benefited AGEOD, or Calvinus, or us punters.

Hi,

In regards to the patches, are the plans still the same to address these issues?

1. Improved interface so that its easier to transfer units between corps and armies. The drag and drop works but its gets frustrating at times, something so that it works on the first try would be great.

2. A more detailed combat report explaining the results of what happened to the units, and maybe an option to see the dice rolls.

With multiplayer getting sorted and these issues addressed, this game will become a classic.

Calvinus, here's hoping you have a full and quick recovery.. :happyrun:

Yes to both two points plus the MP engine fixes.
15 days ago, I did start working on point #2 (combat logs), and puff! :bonk: the PC crashed...

Yes, the computer is back, but totally blank!!!! :bonk:
I have to recover all my data inside the new HDs.
This will keep me deadly busy for a few days.
Then I will be again fully operative on WW1.
