This is rather interesting:
Fighting, however, won't always be the solution to eliminating enemies. In fact, it'll be possible to deny an enemy's food by making deals with other countries or capturing key resources, decreasing their will to take the field.

Now does this mean that ROP will have a real diplomacy engine or will this be handled by events?

Diplomacy is a "VGN exclusive feature" for now... :blink: :thumbsup:

The reviewer is a bit streching the limits of the game here... There is no diplomacy module per se.
