Well, I was only kidding around; but thanks for the translation anyway.

Things are not totally written on stone for the release date. But better safe than sorry.

I was hoping to see some more images though. There was talk about releasing more images a year ago.

Btw Pocus, Philippe. Have you guys played Machiavelli the boardgame? This French boardgame made me think that this team would be the right people to do a PC version of one of the best diplomatic boardgames ever made. At least you could do a Machiavelli "influenced" game, it's a great period to do a game about anyway.

Another boardgame I would like to see "computerized". Junta. This game is absolutelly stellar, I know the subject is not totally PC but as a game it excells. It's one of those games that would allow for great multiplayer sessions, just like Machiavelli.

So. Now you have even more ideas for the future :) . I don't think either of those games would require as much development time as Vainglory etc.

Junta is a boardgamer's dream... the trouble with such a game would be developping a sneaky devious AI... Viva El Presidente :niark:

As an avid Junta fan (I've even arranged the unofficial Norwegian Junta championship at one point), one of my biggest mistakes ever was to bring Junta along on a cabin trip with my fiancee and her friends. I guess my fiancee must have forgiven me that I sent a (succesful) professional assassin against her, since she now is my wife, but I wonder from time to time how long it took.... :D

I mean if rights is a problem one could always device an "Inspired by" type of game.

Plus about devious AI. No doubt mp would have to be the focus. It is virtually impossible to emulate humans that way. Maybe but I doubt it. Paradox Diplomacy conversion failed because they focused on the wrong aspects of that great game.

Glad that more fans exists :) .

Btw regarding Junta experiences. I once played Junta with a woman who is a Swedish minister at the moment. I hope she didn't take the game too seriously though ;) .

Reason I mentioned games like Machiavelli and Junta is because I think there is a gap or void for these type of games. Games about negotiations, back stabbing etc. Which is strange because I think these type of games would sell fairly well if marketed properly.

Strategy/puzzle game:

Your mission is to protect the exit from being reached by evil monsters. If the monsters are able to penetrate your defenses and reach the exit, you lose life points.

To defend the exit, you can build several towers , each with its own characteristics and special abilities. You customize the built towers by improving their capabilities, like burning effect, number of firing rays, etc., and pick one of the targeting strategies. You can also cast powerful magic spells directly at the ennemy.

The monsters have their unique special abilities, being able to heal each other, speed up their buddies and even clone themselves.

After a carefull analyse of the map, the aim for you is to design your own and wicked defensive strategy...

The game is really user friendly, with a very nice graphic touch. Very easy to understand, I've been playing it regularly between two long campaigns and very often find myself engulfed, trying all kind of new defensive strategies for hours.

Historical PC boargame:

Features:
- A period full of famous battles, treaties, treasons, weddings... Anvil of two nations
- A game developed by a new studio with a friendly team
- A game designer coming from the boardgame world just like P.Thibaut
- Simple and aesthetic 3D engine
- Turn based
- Card driven actions
- Simple, Efficient and proved mechanisms
- Multiplayer supported
- Various diplomatic actions

Both games are really different from the previous AGEod products, but we have chosen them for their own qualities. We LOVED these games. Both offer hours of entertainment.
More later... but I would not be surprised if some of you could guess the games by now!

Both of these are very interesting and fun games as I've played both demo's a good bit. Funny how sometimes the simpler ones can be just as interesting as the more complicated ones. Maybe time for me to send more money your way. :niark: Both I find strangely suspenseful and adicting games.

Can you actually save a game in progress in Wicked Defense? Couldn't find a way to do that in the demo.
