ccgr.org: Unique turn based strategy game

Rise of Prussia may not be for everyone since it’s a niche strategy game. Casual RTS gamers may not appreciate all that it has to offer. If you like history or turn based warfare games, I would recommend checking out the demo.

I liked his point about the multi-player aspect. For those of us who love this stuff, we're willing to put up with the hassle, but for the more casual gamer it sure would be nice if these games had a somewhat more transparent system for doing PBEM. Or, even better, a way to do network/internet games where both players are online at the same time, giving their orders. When both players push the "turn end" button, then the turn executes. This would be ideal, if possible.

Depends on how you define victory.
