Rapport de combat

Tue Apr 05, 2011 11:35 pm

Bonjour, voici le rapport de bug.

Date: 05/04/2011
WIA version: 1.08
Mods in use: aucun
Scenario: campagne 1776
Side you are playing: GB
PBEM or vs. AI: AI
PBEM password if used:

Hi Philippe, attached is the previous turn from the KWW AAR. I noticed the turn was still progressing while the battle report was showing and got some odd reports from the English side.

From the French perspective things seem fine. Helene is shown as attacking Mohawk.

Madockawando is shown as attacking Georges.

The English perspective correctly shows Helene attacking Mohawk

But the Georges battle report is then incorrectly overwritten by the Mohawk report.

A later battle in Georges is also incorrect and again shows the same battle report.

I can't send a save as it is from KWW but I have attached the logs.
Cheers, Chris

P.S. if you do happen to want a save I can post one along with an extractable KWW .rar file.
I have a seperate test install that has this turn so if there is anything you want me to try let me know.
I am playing the English side - maybe the bug only happens with the side that the host is playing?
It doesn't seem to actually affect the game apart from what is shown by the battle report for the hosting side - and the problem only happens every so often.

Played a few more turns and no repeat of this problem so far - when the battle reports are shown the turn resolution has stopped.
Maybe if two battles are fought on the same day the problem occurs?

Cheers, Chris

This problem was fixed several years ago (although I remember having it at this time). I'm starting to think it can perhaps be tied to the new O/S (Vista and Seven) compared to XP...

I experienced the problem again a few days ago - I've noticed it in around 1 turn in 10. Only noticed it since using Windows 7.

Cheers, Chris
