editing questions

Fri Sep 23, 2011 8:31 am

Real happy with my purchase must i say but also have several question.

1-How do i make the elements replacement event fire more often, how do i edit it?I saw that it says min. date 1776/1/1 and above it 3/6/9 or something. Are these numbers the months that the event can start firing from the minimum date?If i edit something like 3/6/9/12 means that every 3 months it will fire?
2-How can i make the military options bought by EP more often and change what they give my,for example 2 instead of 1 replacement point of 100% been an elite one?
3-How do i change the type of regiments/squadrons/elements that a scenario stars with(only the type not the number of units or elements). :bonk:

1. Yes, those are the months.
2. These are in the various xxxoptions.sct files in \Events. the "more often" is controlled by the "regen" events. "how much" by the "check events". See http://www.ageod.net/agewiki/Category:Modding_Options
3. This one is far easier if you edit the DB and recompile.

For more on all of this, see http://www.ageod.net/agewiki/Main_Page
Always ask yourself: "Am I part of the Solution?" If you aren't, then you are part of the Problem!
