delayed orders proposal

could we wish in a next patch that orders can be delayed?
for example, to order a strength to move on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th... day, or maybe, to move the same day when another strengh is coming in the area
idem for changing its attitude

Pocus, will possibly replay in terms of nex patch and wishes list!
Personally, AFAIK, I do not know any event/trigger allowing it: but it's known I have till a limited knowledge... I'd not go on bothering others for clarifications should I have a perfect, wide and competent knowledge of AGEod codes!
That's the truth without polemic accents!

Now, I guess we could pass over your request, for historical reasons too!
At Napoleonic Age there was a great problem in orders delivery, interpretation and execution leading to many unpredictable results...... Many battles and manouvers were the product of such a plan execution inaccuracy.
Modern times combined operations were out of possibility......Purple doctrine till to come!

Don't we have delayed orders already? From time to time, I recall seeing delay messages in the events ledger.

It's a great feature, and I'd be happy to see more of it.

I think he meant the possibility to order a force to move on a specific day during one turn.

Cheers

Uh, okay.

Je ne lis pas le français (ou en italien!) Très bien.

:bonk:

[I studied French as a child (and German for four years in high school, also Chinese for three years in college and Filipino for many years after that), but this was all a long, long time ago. Sometimes I don't read English too well either. Getting old... :( ]

That's that... Perhaps planned for VGN, but ... no promises!

Make sense there: telegraph, field-telephone and radio were common of the battlefields of times VGN will deal with!
