English translations

Tue May 20, 2008 12:30 pm

Being a typical American, I only speak English ... well ... I speak what passes for English on this side of the Atlantic, Brits would probably argue the point. Anyway, when reading the .pdf manual and notes that appear on the bottom of the screen during "next turn" resolution, I am sometimes confused by what I read. I can usually understand what the translator meant, but not always.

Do you have a native English speaker who can review all your translations?

Don’t get me wrong, I am not being critical, and God knows your English is better than my French, but sometimes it makes me laugh and sometimes it makes me wonder.

We do have some betas offering their help in proofreading our French version of English :niark: :sourcil: ... it's just that, sometimes, we are not always checking everything and our own version is not proofed...or read... :innocent:
