Map - Balkans

Sun Nov 18, 2007 12:13 pm

Hi,

Just downloaded the demo, and there are several innacuracies in this neck of the woods - I'm well aware that it was not important in Napoleonic period, but I still think that you might be interested.

-Name of the country is Albania, not Alabania (Hell, at certain zoom levels it looks like Alabama :) )
-Region in Serbia west of Belgrade is called Tuzla - "shape" of Serbia looks ok, but that name doesn't seem right, Tuzla is west of river Drina, was never part of Serbia, was then and is now town in Bosnia. That region should be, perhaps, called Sabac, it's the main town in that part of Serbia.
-Region in Bosnia is called Dobroj - that's a spelling mistake, name of the place is Doboj.
-Region of Uzice should probably be part of Serbia in that period.

Cheers,

Nikola

Having lived for more than a year outside Tuzla, I should've spotted at least that one. Dang.
