Do marines have any special abilities?

Do marine units (e.g. Royal Marines) have any special abilities compared to ordinary infantry e.g. with amphibious invasions? Thanks

The only ones I know of in NCP are those in the Spanish Ulcer Scenario and they are plain line infantry.

I guess the attribute values (for the Royal Marines anyway) do at least indicate that these are elite troops
