I have installed the patch, and have lost all corps names in an ongoing PBEM in Poland. Each and every corps is just called " 'corps " now. :bonk:

Update: this doesn't go away even if I detach the corps and reattach it to la Grande Armée. It's " 'force ", then " 'corps ". It's as if the game wouldn't pick up the leader name ... :(

I don't know if this has been reported before but since I installed the latest patch (yesterday), redeployment doesn't work. Even though when I put the mouse over the button, I'm told that I still have 3 redeployments left, I can't depress the button.

With the other patch I never had the problem. Sorry to bring it up so late and thanks in advance.

Hi, just bought the game. Is this the only patch I need or is it incremental?

On AGEOD's games, the last is always the only one you need.
And 97% of the times, they are compatible with saved games form previous patches so you can patch and continue playing :coeurs:

Hello, I downloaded patch 1.03c and when I ran the installer, it freezes when it reaches the progress window. I have the Gamersgate direct download version 1.03a. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide! :)

Actually, I finally got it to work. I unpacked the patch to another directory and then copied the files manually. Worked great! Sorry for the confusion...thanks! :)

In the next update, could you please add the Q and W fixed cycle, and enable division element replacing, as they now are in the current AACW?
those are great features.
(as well as fixing the redeploy in current NCP)

Yes, it will be in for NCP as it is for AACW, rest assured!

We will propose a public beta patch 1.04 very soon (friday or tuesday, next monday is not worked in France), it will be a working version but still very stable with much improvements. Then from that the historical data should get some works too regularly.

Here is the temp readme, things are still worked upon, also most of our volunteers left, so we are recruiting new ones.

==============================================================================
THIS PATCH DOES NOT WORKS FOR THE 1.00 VERSION, if you have not installed
the Foundation Patch before.
==============================================================================

==============================================================================
Napoleon's Campaigns Patch 1.04 beta / May, 2008
==============================================================================

==============================================================================
Bugs
==============================================================================
- fixed: Naval Combat had a bug on cohesion.
- fixed: lone artillery could be redeployed.
- fixed: a rare bug where a ZIP gamefile would not be recognized correctly.
- fixed: Partisans units were not shown in the Unit List (Ledger page F1)
- fixed: a bug of password querying.

==============================================================================
Gameplay
==============================================================================
- When a depot or village is burned, supply is reduced to the stock needed for one turn of supply (of the units present in the region).
- changed: Generals being discharged from army command, or bypassed by another general when an army is formed will now lose 1 to 4 seniority ranks.
- added: Divisions can now replace whole lost elements.
- Fatigue and losses of men both from movements and standing attrition revised. Historical Attrition should be less harsh. Attrition from movements is higher in bad weather, but is less important from enemy territory.All parameters have been exported into a new option file for modders. See the modding forum for further instructions.
- Various adjustments in the database.
- March to the Sound of Guns improvements: a corps can intervene once per day maximum, and 1 cohesion point / day of 'virtual' march is lost doing so.
- changed: movement speed now takes the slowed element within an unit.
- changed: Seniority changes are now 50% faster (in good ... or bad)
- Units in a structure are always considered as being passive for Cohesion recovery (netting a +2 per day overall, +1 from Passive, +1 from Structure). Reminder,if besieged, you lose -1.5 though.

==============================================================================
Scenarios & events
==============================================================================

- Many typos fixed in events.
- Some events were not translated in their game text.

- PW scenario:
- Cintra event fixed.
- Tweak on Joseph arrival and Murat departure.
- Napoleon now arrives in October, when the Erfurt treaty was signed.
- GuardRemove1809 event was broken.
- str1808CampaignBackground1 shortened for the French version only.

- 1809 scenario
- Fixed a bug with the Kroat uprising.

==============================================================================
Database
==============================================================================
- Guards Lancers are no more heavy cavalry
- French Carabiniers are now heavy cavalry.
- Combat signature variable added. Cavalry should be less targeted before closing for the charge.
- HorsePerHit and GunsPerHit added, for a better battle report.

==============================================================================
AI
==============================================================================
- AI: Better decision making for standing outside or inside structures.
- AI: AI can now burn depots in very hostile areas.
- AI improvement: AI is more clever in the use of Army HQ.

==============================================================================
Interface
==============================================================================
- The keys 'Q' and 'W' can now be used to cycle through fixed units

Great stuff. Thanks !

You need volunteers for play testing or something else ?
My knowledge from this period is rather limited but I can play test and report back bugs.
Hopefully you can find more volunteers soon as this is a great game and needs all attention it can get :indien:
