Video Tutorial

Sat Jan 05, 2008 2:56 pm

Hi all

I bought the game, went through the "didactiels", read the manual, played a couple of scenarios and so far really like the game. Congratulations are in order.

I played Coalition on the 1806 Campaign after playing the French to see how the AI handled things. Well, he clobbered me a lot faster than I managed to clobber the Prussians when I was playing the French. Which makes me think that I am a VERY long way from having figured everything out.

Here's an idea : could someone with experience create and post a video where he plays a simple campaign and take us through what he does set by step, why he does it, etc. I know a video already has been posted but it only serves as an introduction to the game. I'm thinking of something a bit more detailed.

Cheers

Agree Strongly

I love all the Ageod games...but I agree entirely SuperBob. The AARs cover the actions people take...but it would be really helpful if someone who really knows the game mechanics would disect a move with the rational behind each move...

"...I moved the cavalry in advance to 'X' province in order to take advantage of the recon capabilities in the area before marching my infantry into the area. I want to know the enemy presence in each of the three provinces I will need to pass on my way to Moscow..."

"...I disbanded my army by hitting the 'X' button and promoted General 'Y' since the army needs improved training and General 'Y' has enhanced training ability..."

The walk through might help us all understand how it all comes together. There is so much capability in these games that some times I feel overwhelmed and can't figure out how to get my hands around all the features. An example that really walks through a game would be very helpful.

Great games!
