Re-downloading?

Thu Nov 15, 2007 5:07 am

I bought both BoA and AACW, and in at least one case I purchased the game via digital download from this site. In the other case I think I purchased the game through Matrix Games. Loved both, and I'm looking forward to buying NCP.

Anyway, I'm wondering: if I purchase the digital download of NCP from AGEOD, do I retain the ability to re-download the game if my PC is fried? Matrix allows you to do that, as long as you enter your serial number and whatnot. Does AGEOD permit that? Or do I have to make sure to keep a backup of the massive downloaded 800mb file somewhere?

Also, does 'my account' here at AGEOD use a different user name and password than these forums? I have no trouble logging into these forums, but when I use the same username and password for 'my account,' I'm told my userID or password is invalid.

You always can... and whatever happens, drop us a line... we know our customers and when they have trouble, we solve it for them (free of charge): once you purchased the game, you are in our 'team' and we shall supply you with the DL links if need be :coeurs:

OK, thanks! That's pretty encouraging. I'm going to go for it.

I'm very impressed.

I feel like I should ask you all over for dinner tonight but: 1) it would be cold by the time you got to Australia and 2) I think I may also need to buy you beer after I get my new Vista computer running next week and then write to you for help :sourcil:

Really guys, this is the type of statement you should put in an interview, PR blurb somewhere with your AGEOD company link all over the place.

Bonne chance :hat:

Hmm, the purchase page mentions an option to redownload for a year, but you have to pay an extra 7 or 8 Euros, and it only lasts a year.

Yes, this is a standard option from Nexway, the company handling our download operations... nothing we asked specifically, it is just there as an extra service they do for all their clients and all their products... :cwboy:
