You are right. This is one of the "doubled portraits".

The portrait right now is of Francisco Javier Mina, one of the spanish guerrilleros

Most portraits are correct, specially after Nikel work
But some of the "second line" leaders use "recycled" portraits instead of the standard "no portrait" graphis.
Not sure how many... guessing... maybe 10 or 15 of the hundreds included in game.
Surely Nikel knows more about it.

arsan, please note that what was done in a great part was to add portraits to generals that had no specific portrait, not to correct generals with wrong portraits. This was more difficult because the portraits of those doubled or even triple generals were difficult to find. Spanish and portuguese generals suffer a lot from this, there were some exceptions though, like in this case

When I was more involved with portraits, reviewed all of them, it is easy to identify them if you sort the units folder by size, though there are some exceptions, the same portraits have the same size.

Separating those portraits, could find 167, counting both the right and the wrong ones, note that not all are pairs, there are triples too

:bonk:
Ouch! Thats more than i though
So then there must be like 80-100 recycled portraits on game?
Roughly, how many leader portraits there are in total?
