Military Options: mods news!

Thu Jul 31, 2008 6:47 pm

When, in autumn 1813, Napoleon gave up plans for a major offensive in Germany in favour of a defensive strategy he ordered to improve Dresden perimeter fortifications.
Batteries were emplaced at Altstadt Redoubt, Neustadt Redoubt, Fort Marcolini.

A NEW MILITARY OPTION HAS BEEN ADDED to Germany 1813 Hist Mod Campaign:

French sides will have chance to improve Dresden defensive perimeter emplacing new static batteries:

This is my first attempt to modding events/Historical options codes.
Things seems to work according to my designes, but only extensive tests could prove it!
The new option will be available with next The Struggle of Nations, Germany 1813: Historical Mod, version on the way to be uploaded.

Indeed there's till a dense Fog of War over events editing!
The main reference guideline, relative to AAWC, does not work at all with NCP: not for New Group adding, at least!
I had to manage for hours to achive posted results: examination of existing events Excel templates and attempts helped me more than any modding guide.
......Let's wait for the fog to dissolve, giving the bright sun of Austerlitz!
