Very nice portraits. This is a work in progress and perhaps the borders between the areas will be more visible. Also like Arsan i find the areas empty contrary to BoA and AACW. A very good news is that General Suvorov is included, it means that it will be possible to simulate his campaigns against Poland, turkey and Republican France in Italy. What i don't like is Alexander and other Russian Generals in dark blue (Prussian) uniforms instead of green. Next to Osterman-Tolstoï in great coat, is it Hohenlohe or Kutusov (in blue) ?

NCP (Napoleon's Campaigns) will use the same engine as in ACW, but with a bigger map. So does it poses problem? Not really, because you will never play on all the map for a given campaign, so some areas will be 'out of the game' each time, like Egyptia when you play the Russian Campaign... Overall, same specs as in ACW. For whose who have a real beast, we will provide the option to display the entire map (you will need 2 gigs of RAM for this option though).

I believe Russian General's uniforms were indeed blue, unless there is an unusual loss of colour in their portraits.

Here for instance Alexander in the original.

Hi!!

It seems some of you are truly experts on the napoleonic era! :hat:
Can some one enlighten me (a some others i suppose) on who is who on the portraits screen?? :siffle:
I can only identify Davout and Ney (top line, 1º and 3º from the left... i think) and Tzar Alexander (not at first, glance, just because you talked about it... :bonk :) Its the 8º from the left on the top line isn't it??

Thanks! :coeurs:

Caranorn Alexander's uniforms is dark green in your picture. So dark that it seems blue.

Is it me or St Cyr looks like Napoleon with a wig?? :niark:
Alexander and Costantin have and evident family air...
Where do you get all this knowledge?
Have some inetersting links?
I´ve read some napoleonic books (Chandler Campaigns is the main one) but you don´t get many portraits on there...
Thanks a lot!! :hat:

So the red head is Schwarzenberg and not Constantine?

Personally I only know a number of those portraits as I had planned to design a game on the 1812 campaign (and all counters of the test version were complete including leader portraits).

I was a bit worried that could be a very dark green instead of dark blue, hard to tell apart.

I have the portraits in the numerous books i got since 1988. For the 200 years many books are published in France or reedited because out of print for a long time. Nevertheless there is still 2 persons i was unable to identify.

Welcome,argentanboy (Boy from Argentan?).

Sorry, there are some mistakes. You'll find most of correct answers in the posts above ( Florent and I have proposed almost all but some portraits are still resisting to our efforts).
Any help is welcome. :)

I've family in the little town where Soult was from. (Saint amand Soult, Tarn, Midi Pyrénnée)

And when you see this place, a complete rat hole lost in the black mountain, dude, this guy had a strong will for sure.

That's not everybody who can make his way out of there for becoming a famous man. ^^

Anyway, the pics look really great, can't wait to play this game.

I like the AACW style too but what I saw of NCP is really nice. Actually I like the NCP style perhaps even a bit more. More colorful. (I like colors. )
Anyway, I think a change in the graphic style is refreshing and a good thing for the Ageod game series. :)

The Graphic Designer has changed (from ACW to NC) so we should learn to appreciate his new original style.

I like the new style, especially the new city icons with the vauban-style walls. :)

I even like the pins, but I think it would be a nice touch if there was a little heap of dirt around the tip, so that it looks like if the Pins are planted in the ground... :sourcil:
