1809 Finland War scenario updated (loyalty and regions names adjusted)

Even with the loyalty change, it looks like military control in Sweden and Russia is still slowly changing in 1.02c

great scenario improvements in this patch! the 1806 got alot of good changes.
Thanks for the work!

I'm assuming it is compatible games started under 1.02? I ask because I received an order file that 1.02c isn't picking up (i.e. no paper clip). If could be an issue that the wrong file was sent, but I wanted to first make sure it should work.

Version No.

G'day all,
Should the version number on the start up page read 1.02 or 1.02c?

Question..has anyone else had this problem..with the newest patch??

Fri Dec 21, 2007 7:40 pm

When I click on the icon to start the NC game...the game seems to freeze during the loading cycle of the first screen (black screen with the loading of the 1/3 to 2/3's on the bottom). This also happened to me in BOA after I downloaded the newest patch. Now after I control alt delete (my windows task manager tells me that the game is not responding at this point) and ended it and I try again it loads ok. I just tried it again today for Napoleon's Campaigns and the same thing happens. :tournepas

There might be a mistake in the LocalStrings_NCP.csv (NCP Version 1.02c) ...

In line 2432 (stringName: evt_nam_SPA_Carjabal) the English text is
General Maceda is now available for command.
Same is true for the French text.

Shouldn't that read "General Carjabal" instead?

Hello and good morning from my neck of the woods. No I am still using as an OS XP. When I fired up the game ACW last night to send back a turn to a friend of mine I noticed the same thing. I never had this problem before. Maybe it has something to do as the game loads up with the ageod screen which is the first thing that pops up any way I believe from the most recent patches? Since I don't see anyone else reporting this hmmm....strange. Thanks for your fast response...as always Pocus.

I'm annoyed that you get this problem though... You can try removing the new screen and see if you see something else, but I don't think this can be this screen being the problem.

Look in the Graphics directory, there is something called FirstScreen.png

:tournepas Hello Pocus, Well I moved the file out and tried it...did not work. I then moved it back did not work. Seems to hang at 2/3 engine loading and then goes to not responding message on windows task manager. In fact the game now does not start at all. Maybe I should I uninstall the game and just add in the newest patch. I do that sometimes as it is. Will let you know...what happens.

ok, if it hangs again, can you do that:

a) change in the NCP\settings\general.opt file the entry
Logbatch = 100
to logbatch =1
restart
after it hangs, terminate the app, and show me the mainlog content please.
