Tutorial Question - Trafalgar display units

Hi - I'm trying out the tutorial (lots to learn!) playing the Trafalgar scenario. I played first as the Brits, no problems.

But when I play as the French, the French fleets only seem to appear if I do an F1 then pick the fleet from the list. For example, I've attached two screen shots. One is of Cadiz when I first open the turn. If I then go into the Unit Listing and select Villeneuve in Cadiz, the fleet appears.

Am I missing something? Shouldn't all the French fleets appear to me the French player?

I think you just have to clik on the city to display the units panel showing the forces contained in the harbor or the city.
The small blue "box" attached with the town contains the number of fleets in the harbor.
The same principle acts for ground forces in cities : another small brown "box" is attached to the city showing the number of ground forces inside it.
