Model Attributes

Wed Jul 04, 2007 12:35 pm

I'm looking at the model files and was wondering how the game uses certain values, specifically in combat. I wanted to mod some new models but wanted to make sure I kept all values relative to other units. Are the values below per hit or per the element as a whole? The reason I ask is say I reduce a unit from 20 hits to 10 hits. That would 1/2 that unit's total strength in men and if the values below are for the unit then I would need to halve the values as well. If it's per hit then they can stay the same and the unit can just deal out less damage as is. I'm guessing it's per hit as that would make the most sense, but I wanted to be sure before I start making my own elements.

For example:
OffFire = 10
DefFire = 16
Assault = 10
DmgDone = 2
CohDone = 12
AsltDmgDone = 2
AsltCohDone = 15

This is per element but a weakened element has a penalty on fire and assault though (which are the probability to hit, the damage are not reduced if the element is weakened)
