AI modding

I've been thinking about modding the AI for NCP, particularly its intrest in regions . Since i've never tried this before, i dont even have the slightest idea where to look or which flies to mod. Can someone push me in the right direction?
What i need to know specifically are the folders to look in and which files to modify.
I dont know if my endeavors will end in success or failure, but i'd like to give a helping hand.
some tips on what to keep in mind would be helpful also.

Ai behaviour may be tweaked:

- by changing objectives and regions VP values

- by adding in the events files events with AI.aggro and AI.interest commands. You will need to learn the event language. You could begin with the AACW wiki page; then you will have to read the modding forums to complete your learnings.
