What do Burnside and Jesus have in common?

In my game, Burnside was killed in a disaster of an attack on New Orleans. But, three turns later, he was waiting for a command in Maryland :tournepas

Too vague! To fix this I need more information. There are 13 official vanilla scenarios, some with their own "event" listings. What scenario and approx. what turn?

are you using my mod? I've introduced for some leaders both a small chance to be removed and to retrun in game.

I was using your mod. May be totally coincidental, but Burnside both generals involved in an attac at New Orleans were killed. A few turn later, Burnside game back.

Probably totally unrelated, that same turn he returned, I tried to "beam" him to a location. I clicked on the wrong location. So I "beamed" him elsewhere and formed a corp using him.

When I ran the turn, the system CTD'ed. I sent the last two turn files to Pocus (support@ageod.com).

This was with 1.09 (not 1.09a).

When you encounter problems using a mod, you should make sure to expore any possible reasons created by the mod for why you experience the CTD (by examining logs and suchlike) together with the mod's creator(s) before sending it to official channels, at leats when it's a problem that hasn't been reported in the vanilla/un-modded version of the game.

Imho totally unrelated. Removals and returns of 3 stars genrals in my mod are event scripted and can't be the cause of a crash. I suspect the possible bug is coming from the instant relocation feature introduced recently in the AGE engine.

this feature is the only way I found to bypass the current almost invulnearble traits 3 stars leaders get in the normal version of AACW. It's random, depict anything from sickness ( Beauregard) to wounds or kills. Ican't exclude leaders killed by the complete loss of their force to reappear but it's in my eyes a minor inconvenience to get a system where your wonderful Grant or Lee can decede...

Burnside was a 2 star leader at the time.
