Oh Sorry! I cant support really that of course. Not the best ACW expert.

Just seemed to me if a few divisions (perhaps 4) could be allowed to be created a month before, it would not be a tremendous change to the game, but allowed to prepare some "mini-corps".

I was thinking about this due to Price not appearing around 50%? of the time, and this makes CSA a too hard hit (and seems to me of course nearly imposible to repair, even sending lots of "resources" there)

Anyway ---
I ve looked into google -some small division size battles involving price, well sure these were not exactly divisions, but well is this not a "what if?"

Wilson Creek (11.000 troops) McCulloch + Price Early Aug 61 (yes were brigades & militias but as a group are division sized)
Lexington I (dont know exactly but surely 5000+ troops) Early Sept 61

All the "army of the west" was perhaps 20000 troops in all in 1862? Well 11k could be granted a division to be formed :niark:

I'd like to move the divisions up to September, and I could do it for gameplay purposes, but I am holding to October for now. I did recently read a book about Wilson's Creek, and there weren't any bona fide divisions out there in 1861. Some formations were called divisions, but were only brigade sized.

I know the early game is tough in the mod. There will be a change in the next update of the mod, moving Beauregard's army from Richmond to Manassas. Besides being historical, this should make the early game a bit easier for the CSA during the 'no divisions' period in the east.

curious question, I'm assuming not, but figured I'd just ask, but is this mod, compatiable with the public 1.10beta patch?

thank you!
