Game Speed in Multiplayer

Hello, I just bought the game, so I'm not used yet to the interface and all options available.
The main reason I selected this game, was because it allowed multiplayer on TCP/IP, so that I could propose to friends to play.

At first glance, though, it seems quite quick to handle without having a chance to pause the game. So, I'm wondering if exist any way (mods?) to further reducing the game speed for multiplayer sessions.

The lowest speed is already very low :D . Check the ini file, there might be some ways to lower it even more, but you risk de-synchronization... :(

Well might be when you get used to the game and when the overall activity is low, but there are some crucial moment in the game when you need some low pace I think. Any way thanks a lot for the reply.

What you mean for de-synchronization you mean between events and dates?
