Colors of links between regions behave strangely

It seems the link colors between the regions are not working properly in 1.10b (or at least I noticed it here).
For example:
From Shelby,TN -> Hardemann, Tn is a railway connection as well as from Shelby,TN -> Austin, MS but they are shown in different colors:


Or here: from McCracken, KY -> Hickmann, KY is the same color as from McCracken, KY into the Reelfoot lake...



I've already made a "fresh" installation, but it reappears.
Can someone confirm (or explain if WAD) this behavior?
Or did I completely misunderstood the function of that lines?
