Showing number of elements

Fri Aug 17, 2007 9:06 am

I would like to have, in the tooltip when hovering over a regiment/brigade/division, to see how many elements there is and how many it can hold at most.

As it is right now Im sitting and counting to make sure I can get the division I want to, with medics, signal corps, engineers, sharpshooters and marines.

I hope I make sense otherwise just ask me and I will clarify.

Actually, putting signals, engineers, and medics in a division does not make sense, as they just take up space in the division. They benefit the stack, and in a division actually decrease their total usefullness.

And all the time I gotten the impression that they are supposed to be attached to a division to get their bonuses :bonk:

But what do you think of my suggestion?

Yeah, I agree that this would be good. Many times I am forming a division and am wondering how many more brigades I can fit? Trying different sized brigades, etc. Also, wondering if I didn't over-stack my division with undeveloped brigades, meaning they will never fully develop and am not using my elements effectively.

Yes, tooltip info about number of elements would be cool! Now, I have to take divisons out of corps to see which one generates command penalty.

A division always carries a cost of 4 CP, no matter its size and number of elements.
