Naming Forces

Wed Mar 11, 2009 12:54 am

I would be nice to have the ability to name a force/command. For example, I have a force identified as Price's Command in Arkansas, I would want the ability to edit the name to say "The Army of Northwest Arkansas"; "Price's Legion"; or, any other name I so desire and the program would allow me to do so.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sorry, I meant to put this in the Wishlist thread.

Your wish is already (partially) granted! You can alt-click on a force tab to rename a force, although I believe it doesn't work for armies.

This was added in a patch. I don't know why the army restriction exists, but I assume there's an underlying engine reason.

Armies are named based on the region in which they are raised. This is the underlying engine reason.
