It's not easy to guess from the black and white photos, when you are not a specialist. ;)
I changed his hair. :)

Btw I've learned that he tried to dye his hair to black, because he hated the color... but it turned green !!

Very nice Sandra, much better now! :coeurs:

But perhaps that could be a new feature some day.. Sherman has 3 stars in that picture! Is it possible to make 3 pictures of every general.. with 1,2 or 3 stars? :siffle: :niark:

Sherman didn't have three stars until 1866.

I just wanted to say to Sandra and Robin, what a great job you have done with the artwork. I was playing last night and was again just struck with how beautiful the game is, how much attention to detail there is with all of the different units/generals/ships/maps. It does so much to help truly immerse the player into the game.

Great job!

More Gens. needed ...

Thu Apr 19, 2007 5:47 am

Maybe some more Gens. are needed as in FoF, but maybe not necessary to make all 1,000 plus ACW Gens. of both sides though. Maybe some Generic One Stars/Full Bird Colonel types would be OK, as in the old TalonSoft games where generic Officers were used for replacements of Leaders that became casualties.

Photos are easy to get off the inet. I can show you all a site that has short biographies and photos of most of the Gens. if you don't have this site already. I think I saved the site address.

Is Prince Polignac in the game for the CSA??? I haven't checked yet or even played a game yet except for the tutorials.

Anyway, very nice game and artwork!!! :hat:

The graphics for the game are quite impressive and a significant factor in getting into the "feel" of the era/game (for lack of better description). Many thanks and kudos for the job you've done (and are evidently still doing!) :)

yes, I must phone her, she had one big problem with his flat completely inundated, but there is no reasons to not have these 107 portraits within a few weeks.

107 portraits......hmmmm, using the spreadsheet I count 50-60 "generic" generals that have the empty picture right now. Am I missing something? Were there some generals from the "original" group that were never completed?

Are there some "new" generals that we should put up for debate about ratings in the officer's forum?

Heh, I came specifically to ask about those missing general images as I knew photos for many of them existed.

So now the only bad news is they won't be Sarah's artwork:-( But I guess that's better then none at all.

Great job once again, haven't really started playing and browsing through the files yet, but so far it looks good.
